Spartanburg, SC (12-31-23) – Blackberry Smoke never fail to put on a great show. The band gave their all, as usual, for one last show of 2023 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditiorium with an encore that counted down to the new year as they performed a cover of “Take The Highway” paying homage to local legends The Marshall Tucker Band. One noticeable difference for the night was the absecnce of drummer Brit Turner, who missed the last two shows as well, due to a medical situation.
Guest openers were Robert John and The Wreck who put on an energetic set bringing their brand of rovk from Southern California to the east coast.
