Boiling Springs, South Carolina (March 9, 2018) – Tonight, Riley Biederer brought her acoustic show to The Boiling Springs Ale House in Boiling Springs, SC. Having been familiar with Riley from The Voice I ventured out to see the show myself. Pre-show you could hear the chatter of the crowd, the hustle, and bustle of people moving around and a jukebox in the background, but once Riley started singing all that stopped; her powerful voice instantly captivated everyone.

Riley played a three-set show and covering songs by the likes of Tom PettyEd SheeranRhiannaImagine DragonsBeyoncéStevie Nicks and many more; Riley showed just how versatile her vocal talent really is. Between sets, Riley stopped to talk with fans and take pictures and autograph merch. During the show Riley mixed in several original songs as well; my favorite being “Honest” especially the line “I’m not heartless, I’m just honest“. This was a brand new song Riley said she had just written with a friend about two weeks ago.

Riley has a powerful presence that draws you in with every note and keeps you wanting more. With her hard work and a recent move to Los Angeles, you can expect to see her already successful career continue to grow.

Riley Biederer may only be 21 years old, but she has accomplished a lot in the music business. Her singing career started with chorus class in middle school, and by age 12 she was writing her own music progressing into playing open-mic nights. At age 15 Grammy-winning producer Matt Still (Lady GagaOutkastBB KingPatti LaBelle, etc.) discovered Riley through her YouTube videos. Impressed with her talent Matt introduced Riley to Elton John who signed her to his international management company, Rocket Music. Working with the label, Riley was introduced to several writers and producers across the country, and even France, to help craft her skills. After four years Rocket Music decided to close its North American operations. At age 16, Georgia’s Governor Nathan Deal presented Riley with the states Music Hall of Fame Bill Lowery Horizons Award. With persistence and hard work, Riley signed a publishing agreement at age 18 with Sony/ATV, one of the world’s largest publishing companies. Using social media as a way to get her music out Riley built a following of nearly 300K subscribers on YouTube, 75K followers on Facebook, nearly 40K on Instagram, and 15K on Twitter.

After the split with Rocket Music Riley auditioned for Season 9 of The Voice and became a member of Pharrell Williams’ team. She was stolen twice, becoming a member of team Gwen Stefani and back to Pharrell, making it to the live playoffs to finish in the Top 20. Following The Voice, Riley was picked up the APA booking agency to be the support act for Nick Carter’s 2016 tour and released an EP in May 2016, To Me and You.

Recently Riley took part in an online YouTube show “Best Cover Ever” hosted by Ludacris and co-produced by Ryan Seacrest. She auditioned with Katy Perry‘s “Chained to the Rhythm” and won the contest.
