Greenville, SC (December 12th, 2019) – What a year 2019 has been.  I’ve traveled, worked with some amazing bands and crews, and took some great photo for some great people.  But when Arrival of AutumnRED, and In Flames are rolling into town.  You say to yourself “what a better way to wrap up the year”.  What can I say, these heavy hitters proved me right!

They may have started off as just some small band in Canada, but Arrival of Autumn is turning into so much more.  They may have kicked off the night for the tour, but these guys made sure all eyes were on them.  With long hair, F bombs, and making sure the crowd knew they were gonna be drinking beer and selling merch after the show.  These guys are a mix of metal and just plain good dirty rock n roll.  Keep an eye on this band, they aren’t scared to fight their way to the top.  They have the talent and hard hitting music to back it up.

Red may be a primary color, but apparently it’s also a hard hitting force in the music industry.  Flash back to many years ago, I was lucky enough to see these guys when they first got a record deal and took off.  They were storming the stage and taking over the show back then, and they still are now.  With Michael Barnes jumping off stage and singing with the crowd to guitar player Anthony Armstrong covering every inch of the stage.  This is a high energy show you can’t afford to miss.  They will show you with the first song why they have 6 Dove Awards, 2 Grammy Nominations, and many other accomplishments.

I don’t think everyone was ready for In Flames as they did exactly what their names says.  They took over and burnt The Firmament to the ground.  One thing I learned very quick working this show, was watch out for Sweden.  It may be home base for this band, but they have traveled the world to show everyone the force they have.  The best part of the show was the guys laughing, smiling, and cutting up with each other.  They may be a very intimidating metal band but it‘s obvious these guys just love music and playing together.  Like Bjorn Gelottepointing, singing, and cutting up with fans to singer Anders Fridden stopping the show in between songs to take moments to talk and thank the fans getting them all ready for hits like “Take This Life“ and “I Am Above.”

This tour is full of polite, talented, well respected people who all know how to entertain with their hard hitting music. If these band come through your area make a point to get out and see them. It doesn’t matter if it is YouTube, Apple Music, Facebook, or whatever you can find be sure to check all these bands out now and support what they do by purchasing their music. Get ready for some serious metal to be shoved in your face.
