Clemson, SC (February 27th, 2020) – If you keep up with music, you know there is a long list of talented artists who have come out of South Carolina. How often is it a local band you’ve just heard of packs out a big club in downtown Clemson? When so many people show up to see them, it makes taking photos difficult but definitely entertaining. It’s nice to see a local band draw such a large crowd.
If you live in Upstate South Carolina, remember these three words, Hunter Holland Band. I took a few minutes before the show to speak with the band. Being so humble and down to earth, I didn’t expect the wild energy these young guys were about to show on stage. All night long all you could see was beers in the air and people screaming for more. I have to ask, what country band puts Motley Crew and Bryan Adams in their set? Well these guys do, even adding a twist to make it their own. Their eclectic song selection will keep you on your toes all night as they fill their set with fan favorites. The band also plays original music as well taking moment during the night to debut their new song “Drivin’ Around“ which was recorded in Nashville and just released a few days ago.
Country bands in our area come in many shapes and forms. It’s not often you see a bunch of country boys with the energy of a young rock band. These guys may not have a huge presence online yet, but with word of mouth they have made it this far. If you have time in your schedule for a lot of fun, and the lungs to sing along with a band all night you need to go check them out!
