Asheville, NC (9/8/21) – Formed in 2016 The Hu have come a long way in a short time. I first heard of the band as a YouTube sensation and since then the band has had Billboard charting hits and toured multiple countries around the world. Their blend of rock music with with traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing techniques provide a unique blend that has garnered the attention of a rapidly increasing fan base. The Hu have also released additional versions of 2 of their most popular songs including “Wolf Totem” featuring Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach and “Yuve Yuve Yu” with Danny Case of From Ashes To New. The band has also released a cover of Metallica’s “Sad But True” which you could tell fans thoroughly enjoyed. In an interview earlier this year the band stated they plan to release a new album in late 2021. In the meantime they have recently released a remix version of “Song of Women” featuring current touring partner Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.

Halestorm is a band that just keeps on giving. Hailing from Pennsylvania the band gained national attention in 2009 with the release of their self titled debut album. Since then the group has put out a string of chart topping and award winning songs. Halestorm’s latest single, “Back From The Dead” continues delivering the driving hard rock sound that “Troopers” are accustomed too. The 4 piece consisting of members Lzzy Hale, Joe Hottinger, Arejay Hale and Josh Smith blazed through a set of heavy hitters including “Apocalyptic,” “I Get Off,” “Love Bites” and many more. Lzzy’s commanding vocal presence filled the room as the band delivered their brand of heavy hitters. In moments between songs Lzzy took time to speak to the crowd thanking everyone for continued support. She also spoke of the bands history in Asheville dating back to their first show in the area where the group opened for Shinedown just down the street at The Orange Peel in 2009. Halestorm is known to be force on the touring front and currently have dates listed through December of 2021.
