Charlotte, NC (8/22/21) – Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke have been making a name for themselves for quite some time now. Each year finds them further entwined in the depths of the genres legacy. Bringing their current “Spirit of The South” tour to Charlotte, NC again proves their dedication to the music and their fans as well. The groups own music stands alone and continually draws in new listeners. However, the band is always pulling surprises and releasing covers of classic songs with featured artists of yesteryears or even guest spotting on originals.

Touring in support of their latest album release “You Hear Georgia” Blackberry Smoke once again prove themselves as one of, if not, the top groups in their realm. The band has grown over the years musically but also member wise with the addition of Benji Shanks and Preston Holcomb. For this tour the addition of back up singers The Black Betty’s gives the live performances even more depth. The singing duo are also featured on the latest album as well.

The current list of dates also consists of The Allman Betts band and The Wildfeathers. An additional fourth set comes at the end of the night where BBS retakes the stage for a jam session including all the members from the opening groups. The current run of dates also includes a special guest Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie fame.

With dates listed through October there’s plenty of chance to get out and see this great night of live music.
