Maddie Medley – Maddie may be young in years but carries an old soul. A soft and subtle voice, yet sounds aged with knowledge, she sings songs of growth with conviction.  Her quaint appearance and seemingly fragile speaking are quiet contradictory to the power she puts out through song.  Drawing a crowd to silence and making them listen as she works her way through compositions such as “Come To Jesus” and “Edith.”  Writing songs from the age of 11 Maddie has honed in on a style that is unique but captivating. She has put together a collection of songs with famed producer Dave Cobb for an upcoming album, “Coming of Age Pt. 1” to be released on April 3rd, 2020.

Brent Cobb – “That man’s as southern as it gets” is a phrase I’ve heard several times at various Brent Cobb shows. It’s one of the truest statements about a country artist I’ve heard in quiet awhile. Today’s mainstream pushes a variety of artist that like to call themselves country but they just are not. Many people see this and just shake their heads as they seek out something real. That’s where Brent comes in. This backwoods, Georgia raised singer is instantly recognized as something honest and pure. His music is filled with traditional country sounds, the twang in his voice is sincere and the words are from real life experience. I was first introduced to Cobb’s music 2yrs ago and have followed heavily since then watching as his crowds have grown (tonight’s show being sold out). He sings songs people connect with, that hit home for many. Catching the attention of many acclaimed artists Cobb has toured with other well known such as Chris StapletonBlake Shelton and Marty Stuart. He’s written songs for Whiskey MyersMiranda LambertKenny Chesney and the legendary Oak Ridge Boys amongst many more. Recently he just did a song writing session with Travis Tritt. His 2016 album release, “Shine On Rainy Day” earned him a Grammy nomination which he followed up with 2018’s “Providence Canyon.” Recently Brent obtained the masters to his first album “No Place Left To Leave” from 2006 that was produced by family member Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings and has re-released it. Tonight’s set, accompanied by guitarist Mike Harris, took fans on a journey through his catalog of music as the crowd sang along to favorites such as, “Down In The Gulley,” “Diggin’ Holes” and “King of Alabama.”  Brent also introduced a few new songs as teasers to his upcoming new album to be released later this year.

Check out Brent on all digital music platforms and get to see a live show soon.  The current acoustic tour continues through March 22nd.
