Greenville, SC (August 17th, 2019) – It’s always refreshing to work with bands coming out of the Carolinas. It makes you remember that talent is alive and well in our area. That’s exactly what Cody Webb and his band did at The Blindhorse Saloon in Greenville, South Carolina.
First of all, Cody doesn’t sing to the crowd…he sings with the crowd making everyone feel like they are a part of the show. No matter what size the venue is, he makes it feel like a house party. Everyone had their hands and beer in the air, screaming every word to each song. To make things even better, him and his band have an amazing chemistry on stage. They laugh, sing and cut up with each other the entire show. There is never a dull moment with these 4 guys on the stage. Mid set, while letting the band take a break, Cody pulled out a beer, acoustic guitar and had a solo moment drawing everyone in a little closer with an intimate acoustic performance. Everyone in the band makes sure you keep your eyes on that stage. Your attention wasn’t able to wonder because you kept your eyes on them, especially when playing catchy originals like “Jon Boat“ and “She’s Carolina.” Take a break from reading this right now and go to YouTube and catch his videos. You’ll be singing these songs the rest of the night.
In a day where you can’t tell the difference between rock, rap, and country. It’s nice to see a local artist put a breath of fresh Carolina air into country music. This is someone everyone needs to keep an eye on. He’s coming up fast and has no plans on stopping.
