Simpsonville, SC (9/26/21) – The 90’s came looking for fans “Round Here” to catch the Counting Crows at the CCNB Amphitheater. The band fronted by singer Adam Duritz brought their “Butter Miracle” tour to town to the pleasure of many nostalgic fans. A set list full of multi platinum hits such as “A Long December” and “Mr. Jones” had fans singing along and dancing in the aisles. With their latest EP released on May 21st, 2021 loaning it’s name to the tour long time fans were eager to hear new music as well. The band obliged playing 4 of the 5 tracks that included “The Tall Grass,” Elevator Boots” and others. The band took time to address the crowd expressing thanks for 3 decades of continued support and their enthusiasm to actually be playing live shows again. The Counting Crows brought along support artist Frank Turner who opened the show with an hour long acoustic set. Turner entertained the crowd with his own style of songwriting and mixing in some laughable moments as well. The time to see this tour is drawing to a close with only 5 shows left. However, I’m sure groups will be updating new dates soon on their sites.
