Columbia, SC (January 30th, 2020) – Kicking off the first night of his “We Back Tour 2020” in Columbia, SC fans packed the Colonial Life Arena for tonight’s show featuring Jason Aldean. On the heels of of latest chart chart topping album release of “9” fans were about to “Take A Little Ride” through a set list of hit songs. Joined by guests Morgan Wallen known for his hit song “Whiskey Glasses” and ”There Was This Girl” singer Riley Green the trio of country stars kept fans on their feet all night long. Dee Jay Silver kept the energy going between sets with a mix of party songs that had attendees dancing in their seats. Even Aldean’s son could be seen dancing side stage.
Turning up the excitement Jason made it feel like “A Little More Summertime“ inside the venue away from the cold outdoors as he continued “Burnin’ It Down” with hit after hit. Surprising Gamecock country with one of their own, hometown singer Darius Rucker joined Aldean on stage mid set for a performance of “Wagon Wheel” and a cover of “Let Her Cry” by Rucker’s recently reunited band Hootie and The Blowfish.
If the rest of the tour is anything like tonight’s show it’s sure to be another great year for Aldean and crew. With dates listed through September 26th there‘s plenty of opportunity for you to see one of country musics top acts.
