Charlotte, NC (October 1st, 2019) – Bringing their current “Red Tape” tour to Amo’s Southend in Charlotte, NC fans waited outside for this evenings Nonpoint show. Adding to the excitement already “In The Air Tonight” early attendees were treated to a pre-show meet and greet where they were taken inside to take pics with the events headliner as well as support acts Hyro The HeroMadame Mayhem and Zero Theorem. Feeling the Buzz of energy around the venue fans visited merch booths eagerly awaiting show time.

Zero Theorem

First up for the night was L.A. based band Zero Theorem. Mixing a bit of science fiction with hard rock and metal this four piece group commanded the stage. Consisting of Caesar (Vocals), Jake Hayden (Drums), Eloy Palacios (Bass) and Roy Lev-Ari (Guitar) the group drew in new fans with their energetic stage presence and driving rock riffs. Having recently worked with famed producer Kane Churko the group will soon have a new album out title “The Killing.” If it’s anything like their live show it will definitely be something to add to your rock playlist.

Madame Mayhem

Having seen Madame Mayhem back in March at this same venue I was pleased to see the band again on this bill. Holding nothing back the band powers through their own brand of rock with catchy hooks and sing along choruses on songs such as the latest single “Broken.” Backed by her fierce band Mayhem works the stage showing why rock and metal magazines have featured the group numerous times, the top festivals add the band to their show and artists like Billy SheehanRay Luzier and Clint Lowery are willing to work with her on collaborations.  On a night filled with male frontmen Mayhem makes her presence known and shows why their needs to be more women on the rock scene.

Hyro The Hero

Hyro The Hero is, being honest, a group I had never heard of until this show. Always eager to see and hear new artists I impatiently waited for their set time to come. With a unique blend of rock, metal and rap this group immediately had my attention. The drive and passion of this band for what they do is very prevalent across the stage as they play through their intense set. My eyes couldn’t focus on one thing as I scrambled to keep up with all that was happening. This band not only makes you hear the music but see it as well. With high flying jumps, head banging and fist in the air Hyro The Hero puts on one hell of a show that you can’t help but to appreciate. Even if it’s not your style of music I feel this band can just take you over. Being one to “Never Back Down” from a good time Hyro jumped from the stage into the crowd joining the mosh pit engaging in some fun before closing out their set. This is a band I highly recommend you keep on your radar and are a point to go see.

Nonpoint

Formed in 1997 Nonpoint shows no signs of slowing down despite the recent departure of guitarist BC Kochmit. With 10 albums, billboard charting hits and sold out shows across the country Nonpoint continues giving fans what they want with their hard hitting stage show and brand of rock/metal music filled with a touch of hip-hop lyrical melodies that provide catchy choruses backed by hook driven guitar riffs. Taking the stage tonight Elias Soriano (Lead Vocals), Robb Rivera (Drums), Adam Woloszyn (Bass) and Rasheed Thomas (Guitar) are joined by fill in guitarist Ahrue Luster of Ill Nino as they perform a set list of their most notable songs. Hits such as “Breaking Skin,” “That Day” and “Chaos & Earthquakes” were accompanied by rounds of cheers and applause from the crowd who had waited all evening.

Making a “Statement” Nonpoint filled the venue with a thundering bass and drum foundation as dreads flew around in fury, 22yrs of experience coming together for a climatic live show. Throughout the years seeing Nonpoint play they have always been about the fans and showing thanks for their continued support. Tonight was no different as the group took time to meet with those in attendance upon closing out there set with “Bullet With A Name.”

You can find these bands out on tour together through October 13th ending in Joliet, Illinois. Nonpoint will regain touring in October as they venture out with HELLYEAH on their Vinnie Paul tribute tour.
