Anderson, SC (April 6th, 2019) – What was supposed to be a simple, laid back, Saturday night acoustic show turned into much more.  Thomas Fountain had his bass player and lead guitar player join him, turning into a greatly talented three piece.

You could tell these guys were more than just performers, they were friends.  Keeping the crowd entertained with their humble personalities, amazing vocal harmonies, and excellent song choices. They played original songs such has “Apple Pie“ and “Daddy’s Old Billfold,“ which were well written to tell stories about life, growing up, and they fit Thomas’s voice and style perfectly.  Thomas even took a moment to explain the stories of the songs, such as where the ideas for the song came from, people involved in the writing process, and how they associate with every day life.  Thomas would also take a moment during the acoustic show and take a few random requests or surprise the crowd with some fun 90s country covers.

One thing I can say for sure, by the end of the night I was itching to see Thomas with a full band behind him.  If a three piece acoustic show is this interesting, I can’t wait to catch the real thing.  This group isn’t one to use beat machines, backing tracks, or other things people consider country these days.  It’s what me and many others would consider real country music.  This is one singer and song writer the world needs to be watching out for.  His raw, truthful, story telling songs will help carry him to the top.
